2019-2025: Currently she is working 6 years with a Chinese family living in a condo. She is taking care of an elderly age 96 years old and does cooking and housekeeping. Elderly has passed away. Employer's reference: Miss Khin Khin Aye came to my employ six years ago. We engaged her to take care of our rapidly aging mother who also had dementia. During these six years, Khin Khin saw my mother deteriorate from an ambulant but frail old lady to a stage of severe dementia where my mother could not walk, speak and was fed through a nasogastric tube. In the final few years, Khin Khin assisted me to change my mother whenever she soiled herself and bathed my mum together with the daytime nurses. I take care of my mother in the night so that Khin Khin can rest. She would tell me to call her if I needed help in the middle of the night, and very often I do as mum would soil herself in the night. She would come out of her room immediately to assist. She loved my mother very much and this demonstrated her compassionate side. She was also very patient and treated my mother like her own and called her “grandmother”. She will frequently hug and even kiss my mother. Our family liked Khin Khin very much and treated her like our own daughter. We hope the next employer will do so too. Khin Khin is a very clean and neat person. She cleaned mum very well and even the smallest untidiness will be straightened out. She also keeps her own room very neat and clean. In my household, she was not required to cook or clean the home. Her sole purpose was to take care of my mother. However, she will spontaneously clean the house and toilet without us asking when she is able to. Khin Khin’s biggest virtue is patience. She does not talk much, is a quiet, caring and compassionate person. She also likes plants and animals with a special love for cats.
